Cleanse that skin, girls!

With their hectic popstar lifestyle, there's only one way to get fabulous skin for the Steps laydees - and that's water, water and more water! Lisa explains "Drink plenty of water because it really does keep your skin looking good." Swallowing about six to eight pints of the stuff a day flushes all the gunk out of your system, that clogs up your pores and can cause nasty spots. Sorted!

Kiss and Make-Up

Faye's the group's styling expert and is always on hand to advise the other Steps girls while getting ready for a big night out. "Start with the eyes," she tells us. "With make-up you can make them big, small ..... whatever!" Faye loves to mix all her products to get the best colours. She's a big fan of natural shades and loves to wear a mix of browns.

Glitter, glitter, glitter!

Steps just wouldn't be Steps without their glittery stage costumes - and it doesn't stop there! The girls never leave the dressing room without a dab of glitter on their cheeks, or even their eyelids! "It's just something sparkly to catch the eye," explains Faye. "That's my finishing touch," adds Claire. "A stick of shiny stuff you can rub on your boobs." You go, girl!

It's Simply Gadgets A-Go-Go!

Gadgets are important for that complete Steps look, too - and that's Claires department. "I've normally got a bag of things to curl your hair and tease this and that," she reveals.

"The girls are always going, 'Have you got this , have you got that?'" and being Claire, she normally does!

It's Party Time!

When it comes to clothes, it's fun, fun, fun for the girls. "We're very much a party band," Claire explains. "We like to have a good time. So always try and look good for a good night out!"

Accessorise, And Be Wise!

What better way to top off that glamourous Steps outfit than with a fabulous little handbag! It's a must for all those going out essentials - mobile, purse, etc - and a necessity for dancing around! Come on now - "5, 6, 7, 8"!

The Boys:

Trainer Spotting!

Phew. After all that it's time to turn to the lads. They've got it much easier. If you wanna be like H, then there's one place to start - with the trainers. He just loves his collection, and always has plenty of pairs to choose from at the bottom of the wardrobe. Travelling around the world, filming videos and photoshoots, gives him the perfect excuse to stock up - and they're perfect for bouncing around and being generally mad in!

Sensible Shoes For Sensible Steps...

Lee, on the other hand, is much more comfortable in a pair of trendy loafers - unless he's going down the gym or the sport field, that is! Lee says "After that, the look is very important - I'm not vain, but I just like to think my hair looks good." He uses a dab of gel to keep his locks in place, and what he smells like is important, too. "I like Polo Sport aftershave," he reveals...

Style Wars!

You won't ever find the boys arguing over who's borrowed who's shirt. They agree to both go for completely different looks. "I lost my suitcase in the Philippines and I had to wear H's clothes for 3 days. I've never looked so bad!" laughs Lee. "I like to dress a bit smarter - but I think his style is good for him." H adds, "I don't think Lee and I have the same style - in fact, I think we're all different. The main thing is to look like you're ready to have a good time."

Yes, we know jewellery looks a bit dodgy on lads, but if you're in the know, there is a way to wear it with style - over to Lee... There's one important finishing touch that he can't simply do without - silver stuff. As well a Lee's fave silver necklace, the lad sports a silver earclip, silver ring and a silver watch - in case you were wondering.... so get down to H Samuels now, lads!
