For over a decade, the Epsilon Nu chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia has helped to promote excellence in marching music by hosting the Southern Classic at Jacksonville State University.
This annual event showcases some of the finest talent to be found in high school marching bands from across the Southeast. The Southern Classic gives these groups a chance to present their program for adjudication in a competitive environment, and helps to instill the drive for excellence in young musicians.
The Epsilon Nu chapter is proud to present The Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners- the finest college marching program in the South- as our exhibition unit each year.
