The Epsilon Nu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, in association with the Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners, presents the
1999 Southerners Band Day Clinic

We are pleased to invite all area band directors and students to the 1999 Southerners Band Day Clinic, to be held on Saturday, September 18, 1999! We have many good things in store for the students attending this year's clinic, and promise it will be our most successful yet!

This year, the clinic takes place on the day of the second home game of the 1999 JSU Gamecock football season. Clinic attendees will have a BUSY DAY of musical and technical instruction, will view some of the offerings of programs at JSU, will receive FREE ADMISSION to the JSU vs. Union College gridiron showdown, and will march into the stadium and perform with the Marching Southerners in a mass band extravaganza! We guarantee that the students will learn something new about music and marching, meet new friends, and gain insight toward their higher education and what JSU has to offer in our nationally accredited Music Department!

We will not be providing meals at this year's event, but we will arrange discounts and specials for students and directors to make it easy on your wallet! Jacksonville has more restaurants than ever, so there should be plenty to choose from!

The price of this year's clinic is only $5.00 per student! This includes:

We will be sending out complete entry information later this summer, but if you have any further questions regarding the 1999 Band Day Clinic, we will be happy to answer them. You may also call these numbers for info on the 1999 Phi Mu Alpha Southern Classic Marching Contest, to be held on Saturday, November 6, 1999, here at JSU.

Our best to you and your students over the summer months, and we look forward to seeing you here at JSU on September 18!
