"it seems that [it's] been said a million times before, but hardcore is nothing if it isn't about our lives.  hardcore is the human experience.  it is the expression of life.  for some of us life is about the struggle to find freedom, and for some it is the need to overcome personal demons.  people are different.  they have different needs, different emotions, different ways of expressing their humanity.  but it is the expression itself that validates the form.  if hardcore is not about our struggles, our dreams, our desires, our fears, our triumphs and our failures, then hardcore is about nothing at all.  we are all part of one larger humanity, and we must seek to share out differences in order to find understanding.  progress is dependent on that one moment of connection.  if we seek to grow as people, or as a society then we must reach out and be willing to share our inner thoughts and identities.  we all have our own roads to follow, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't stop at the many intersections along the way to talk and argue and fall in love."
