MICHAEL FLANNERY
One of the founders of
Cumann na Saoirse
and a man who has dedicated all of his life to the "ancient"
Cause of Irish Liberation.

Irish Freedom Committee is an Irish American, Irish Republican Humanitarian Aid Prisoners Support Organization which raises funds for the dependents and families of anti-treaty Irish Republican Political Prisoners of War.

   The Irish Freedom Committee supports
   a British withdrawal and works toward
   achieving a 32 County Irish Republic;
   ruled and governed by the Irish People.

The Irish Freedom Committee translated in Irish as "Cumann na Saoirse" was first formed in the United States in 1987,  founded in support for the keystone Irish Republican Principle of Abstentionism from the house of the 26 County assembly at Leinster House as well as any past or future Six County assembly at Stormont.  Both assemblies are bodies of the Partition, regardless of their locations and both have proven to be no stepping stone to Irish National Unity.

The Irish Freedom Committee stands firm in support of this just principle of Irish Republicanism until such a time that there is one assembly representative of a true, 32 County, Irish Republic as first declared in arms back in 1798 and reaffirmed again on Easter Monday, 1916 and as endorsed by the Irish People in the 1919 32-county election.

The Irish Freedom Committee is open to all concerned people who are willing to work for a 32 County Irish Republic and nothing less.
