Endeavour

The name Endeavour was used for two yachts for challanging the Amerca's Cup. Both ships where owned by the Britisch millionair Mr T.O.M. Sopwitch.

The first ship was a J-class yacht of 143 tonnes designed by Charless E. Nicjolson and build in 1933 by Camper and Nicholson in Gosport (UK).

Although she did not beat the Amercan yacht Rainbow in 1934, many believed she was the fastest
sailing ship of the race.

After WWII the ship was in a bad condition. Was sold again and again. Til 1986 when Endeavour was restaurated. Nowadays the yacht makes cruises all over the world.

Basicly the model is a kit of Amati. Some changes where made in details.
