
The celiac artery braches off of the aorta just below the aortic hiatus1. It is approximately 2 cm in length and from it lead three arteries: the hepatic artery, which supplies blood to the liver; the splenic artery, which supplies the spleen; and the left gastric artery, which is one of the arteries supplying the stomach.
