The Mediocre Thoughts WebRing is based upon my dissatisfaction with the substandard education that I recieved from the local school system. This WebRing is for anyone that was or is unhappy with their education. This WebRing is about the improvement of educational practices in any school system.
"Mediocre Thoughts" is a personal joke. In school I was frequently treated as if my thoughts were less than mediocre. Unfortunately for me, it was the teachers own insecurity about the education I had gained for myself, through independant reading, that caused them to treat me in such a way. Knowledge is power, and they didn't want me or any other student to have any.
At present there are only 3 sites on the ring, and I need 5 to get into the main ring index. Technically it's 4 but one of them is a mirror of this site. It was 5, but one of the members dropped out on me. Took until I e-mailed him for him to tell me that he dropped out of the ring. So I shall have to have paitience. Hopefully with a Yahoo listing, I will recieve more hits, and subsequently more support and members. Until then, may the Educators be with you. And thanks a whole heap Tim for being the first to join the ring and then leave it without telling me.
