Response: Dreams are your subconscious communicating with your conscious. Sometimes it is prophetic, sometimes just leftover thoughts.JESS says: i like my leftovers with ketchup.

Response: I think that dreams are a combination of things that are occuring in your daily life and things that you want to happen whether you consciously know that or not.JESS says: then i guess i subconsciously want to die at the hands of a gang of psycho clowns... unless that's happening in my REAL life... there was that night i blacked out. damn vodka...

Response: My opinion is that dreams are things that the unconcieous part of your mind makes up. What I mean by unconcieous is that, well the concieous part of your mind- the part that allows you to think, speak, and make choices in a positive manner, is at rest. So the unconcieous part of your mind takes all your thoughts, hopes, loves, passions, fears, ect. and screws them up. Because as I said before, the concieous part of your mind is at rest and is unaware of making sense of them. Hmmm, have you ever been latying in bed at night and you just thiking about normal things, things that happened that day, memorys, stuff like that, and all of a sudden the people and things that you're thinking about start doing really strange things, you know what i'm saying? And then that concious part of your brain takes over and is like, why were you thining that? I think that that part of your brain becomes unconcieous and falls "asleep" and the unconcieous part takes over. So I figure that dreams are things that only capture you for a still moment,.. things that can take your breath away... but all too soon those moments are gone, and they remain only sad, lonely, silent memorys enclosed deep within your soul...-EmmyJESS says: yes, yes, i laty in bed and thik allll the time. ...p.s.: you wear a lot of black, don't you?

Response: I think that dreams are a reflcetion of yourself, not just life. Our personality has a part in our dreams. I was reading and I came across something that said our dreams gives us hints about what is happening in our lives at the moment. I think that everything that happen in dreams are possible.JESS says: really? sweet, that means i can fly! i'm gonna go try jumping off the roof, hang on just one sec...............................................................

Response: Dreams cannot possibility be the "real" reality and life just a dream because as you said we the dreamer decide what goes on in our heads so nothing happens that we do not allow we may not like it but we allowed the thought to enter our dream. Therefore we have control of our dreams. I find it hard to believe that reality could be the state where we have all the control and there are no other variables. This does not mean that dreams are not important. Dreams are the internet of our minds. They reflect all the feeling, desires, emotions, and experiences that we have gone through and the dream is how we tried to make sense of it all. Just as if someone tried to write a story that could make sense of everything on the internet all the different people's opinions etc. are like the thousands of different experiences we have gone through. Of course if you tried to combine everyone opinion to come up with one opinion that included a bit of everyone's the opnion would be long and confusing just like dreams are often hard to understand. Dreams are not just dreams because they when you dream you mind becomes less stressed because at last it has come up with a reasoning for everything you have experienced. Granted that reasoning may not be relevant, or make a lot of sense but it does give an explanation that your mind can accept leaving it less stressed. That's part of the reason why you feel more relaxed when you wake up of course if you haven't had enough sleep you probably haven't had enough time to dream and your mind will still be stressed. Moral of the story experience reality-life, then go have a nap so you can figure it all out (at least make up an explanation for it).JESS says: maybe you should just keep a journal, dude. if you're relying on your dreams to explain your life, that means you put more faith in the disconnected ramblings of the subconscious than in your own ability to handle situations. wooky.

Response: I think when you are dealing with perception, and trying to determine what is real and what isn't, the lines get very fuzzy. Who is to say that dreams aren't reality, and life isn't just a dream state? You can't prove to me that your entire existence isn't just a fabrication of someone else's dream, and that you are really there. Prove to me that you exist. You can't. Perhaps we are all players in someone else's dream, and the dream state is our own reality. No one can say for sure.JESS says: if so, i wanna be a player in someone else's SEX dream...

Response: i think dreams are what we wish life really was. They can take u anywhere or let u experience anything. Dreams let ur mind go places u only wish u really could go. The ones that don't make sense are the best dreams because u can do anything and it doesn't matter. I seriously doubt if dreams were real life and what we call reality was dreams because dreams are to simple to be actual life. Why would we torture ourselves with reality if it wasn't real?JESS says: maybe YOUR dreams are simple.

Response: Dreams are our subconscious desires, feelings and ideas that we aren't willing to face when we wake up. Symbolism appears quite often, making the dream a bit cryptic for those who aren't willing to analyze. Dreams are the juice that keeps us floating in the real world. Everything that we experience can affect how we dream, and that is what makes it wonderful. Maybe those of us who dream about the foo fighters need to look a little deeper to find the real answer.JESS says: hey! what goes on between a girl and her sexy dream-version of dave grohl is none of your business!
