OK, we all have dreams right? Some are fun, some are scary, some are just plain weird. Well I know that I'm crazy, but I'd like to think that most of the world isn't. So where do these insane things come from? How is it that we can see images when are eyes are closed and our brain is (supposedly) resting? Well those questions are better left to the scientists, but here's one for all you philosophers: We know that dreams come from us. There is no fairy that comes in the middle of the night and gives us our dreams (sorry to disappoint). So yes, as scary as it is, these things come out of our very own heads. They are elborate, involved, and often confusing. It sometimes feels like there isn't really a beginning, middle, and end, but rather you have just walked into the wrong theater and seen 15 minutes of a foreign film. It is as though there is another realm of reality. My question: Are dreams an imitation of life, is life a reflection of the dream world, are dreams just dreams, or are they something more, and life is the illusion?
