An Apple Love Spell
On Friday early as may be,
take the fairest apple from the tree,
then in thy blood on paper white
thine own name and true love's write.
That apple thou shalt cut in two
and for its cure that paper put,
with two sharp pins or myrtle wood
join the halves till it seem good,
In the oven let it dry:
And wrapped in the leaves of myrtle lie,
under the pillow of thy dear,
yet let it be unknown to her.
And if it a secret be
she soon will show her love for thee.
Another Use of Apples for Love
Hold an apple in your hands until it is warm. Give it to the one you. If he or she eats it, your love will be returned.
Apple Love Divination
Cut an apple in half and cound the number of seeds. An even number fortells a marriage. An odd number fortells that the diviner will remain unmarried in the near future. If one of the seeds is cut, there will be a rocky relationship. If two seeds are cut, widowhood will occur.
Another Apple Love Spell
Take an apple before it falls from the tree. With a sharp knife, write "Aleo + Deleo + Delato" on it. Say, "I conjure thee, apple, by these names which are written on thee, that what woman (or man) toucheth and tasteth thee, may love me and burn in my love as fire melteth wax." Then give the apple to your beloved.
An Apple Healing Spell
While the moon is waning, cut an apple into three pieces. Rub each piece on the affected part of the body, then bury them. This will banish illness.
