Karin's Interests

Karin Wikoff
My Interests

My family and I really enjoy movies. I could never write up a favorite movie list -- there are just too many great ones out there and I am not into making lists of that sort.

Reading is a lifelong passion for me. Here is a short list of some books and stories of which I am particularly fond..

I have also written a few little things. In addition to the article on Anne Rice and Goethe I had published in Black October, and more recently a "Wonderful Horror Story", "The Many Faces of Dorian Gray" and "The Haunting of Eleanor" in Horror-Wood magazine, I have a few samples here:

The Lesser of Two Evils is Still Evil

I also enjoy sewing, gardening, hiking, drawing, drinking good wine, growing herbs and flowers and corresponding with many interesting people all over the world. But most of all, I am crazy about football, especially the New York Giants. When Tiki Barber retired, Amani Toomer became my favorite player, and last year I picked Ahmad Bradshaw as the rookie most likely to do something great, but the Giants had 6 or 7 rookies who all had important plays in their run though the playoffs and eventual championship at Superbowl 42

I also just bought my own first home, all by myself, and that is a big interest for me. I am enjoying fixing it and fixing it up.
