Self Study of a Federal Depository Library
Library #0233

Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library
Northwestern State University
Natchitoches LA 71497

According to Federal Depository Manual Supplement 3, the Self Study of a Federal Depository Library was developed as a component of GPO's inspection of each depository library's Federal Documents operation. Depositories will perform a mandatory self-evaluation that, in some cases may replace an on-site inspection.

This Self Study was submitted to the U.S. Government Printing Office on 15 October 1997. While I can't take entire credit for this document, I am responsible for this final version. Other people who contributed much time to this project before my arrival at Watson Library include Sissy Mayeaux (former Government Documents Librarian), Dr. Ada Jarred (Director of Libraries) and Dr. Martha Henderson (Head, Media Serials Department).
