Genecide vs. Namorita

Plot -
The new team of Warriors (Aegis, Bolt, Namorita, Nova, Speedball, and Turbo) have some
down time at the Crashpad, before heading out for their real lives. However, as Namorita
leaves, she is spied upon by the Eugenix, the operatives of the villainess Genecide.
Namorita arrives at a lab, hoping to learn more about the changes (and new powers) in her
body. However, when she lays down on the table, she is clasped down and good doctor
transform into Genecide. Not far away, the criminal mastermind, Joe Silvermane tell his
newest goon, Firestrike, that he wants Turbo's armor: one way or the other. Back at the
lab, Namorita frees herself and sideswipes Genecide. However, Eugenix attacks, and
Namorita is out-manned. She sends out a call for the other Warriors. Speedball is starting
his new job as an intern at his mom's TV show, but he sneaks, with his mom, who knews
about his secret identity, covers for him. Meanwhile, Turbo and Nova are enjoying some
summer rays on the roof of the Crashpad, when they see Aegis walking around in the
Crashpad. But before they do anything, their comm-badges go off. Meanwhile, Bolt and
his girlfriend Donna Funaro talk about his current situation as the newest member of the
Warriors. However, their talk is interrupted and Bolt rushes off. Back at the lab,
Namorita is still struggling with Eugenix and Genecide, when the New Warriors finally make
their appearance. Genecide threatens to kill the clones that the lab has created, but
Aegis claims that clones don't really matter. Then, Namorita reveals that she is clone
herself, and the Warriors move to save the clones from certain death. However, Genecide
offers Namorita a deal: go with her and she will tell Namorita everything she wants to
know about her body. However, she lets Genecide escape. Later that night, Bolt arrives at
Donna's house, telling her the truth: he's homeless. Back at the Crashpad, Namorita tells
the other Warriors why she feels so bad: she actually considered Genecide's offer of
information. |
