Chapter 1, Marvel Knights 7 -
Strange Matters
On the streets of New York City, the vigilante Punisher roams on evil. However, on one
nightly excursion, he finds himself confronted by the mysterious being called Cloak, who
captures the anti-hero. Not far away in Greenwich, at the home of Dr. Strange, the Black
Widow and Dagger contact the good doctor, this dimension's Socerer Supreme in hopes of
finding Cloak, who is Dagger's former partner. Dagger lets out a beam of light and casts
it into the night. Dr. Strange follows the light until it reaches Cloak, but it only
confirms his suspicions. The team (Black Widow, Dagger, Daredevil, Moon Knight, and
Shang-Chi) and Dr. Strange travel to confront Cloak. Dagger pleads her best friend to
return to her side, but when he attacks her, Daredevil, Widow, and Moon Knight intervene.
However, the three are transported away inside Cloak's mantel. Cloak attacks Dagger again,
but Dr. Strange protects her, while in another dimension, the trio of heroes are
confronted by the hordes of evil-doers that Cloak has been absorbing.
Chapter 2, Marvel Knights 8 -
Dark Matters
In the real world, Dr. Strange and Cloak continue to fight over New York, while Dagger and
Shang-Chi watch helplessly. Inside the cloak, the Black Widow, Daredevil, and Moon Knight
make their way the villainous scum, hoping to find a way out. However, Daredevil's senses
have been neutralized and the trio are severily outnumbered. They continue to search the
darkest corners of this look-alike New York, but can not find anyway home. Meanwhile, Dr.
Strange begins to lose his battle, and Shang-Chi steps in. However, Cloak severely beats
the martial arts master, and Dagger faces her former partner once more. While Dagger
distracts him, Dr. Strange sends his astral form to try to save the others inside.
However, before he can get there, Moon Knight is seperated from the Daredevil and Widow,
and is forced to fight on alone and loses. Dr. Strange reaches the duo, to tell them
what's really happening: the demon-god Nightmare has taken control of Cloak's pocket
dimension and is using it has a foothold to take over Earth!
Chapter 3, Marvel Knights 9 -
Final Matters
Moon Knight, severely beaten and almost dead, is saved by the anti-hero Punisher. Its
there that the Punisher finds both Daredevil and the Black Widow are also in the pocket
dimension. The two venture out in hopes of finding the others. Meanwhile, Dagger fights
off Cloak in the real world, but the darkness permeating from him is starting to overwhlem
her. Nightmare begins to march his way into Cloak's realm, and Dr. Strange is forced to
leave Daredevil and the Widow behind. Also, the Punisher and Moon Knight find a plane, but
are shot down by Nightmare himself. The two fall to the ground, and are now forced to
fight off hordes of demons. Dr. Strange awakes in the real world, just in time to see
Dagger's light envelope Cloak. The effect stops Nightmare and frees the team and Punisher
from his realm. Daredevil punches Punisher, knocking the murderer out. Meanwhile, Tyrone,
the boy that was Cloak, is now normal again. However, the question remains: what happened
to the darkness that was Cloak?
