Catfish Comics Welcomes You to The INFAMA Home Page

The Infama Story

We'd like to think of Infama's origin as being one of the more unique stories around. Nothing to do with demons, aliens, or radiation. However, we're not giving it away just yet. After all, one never knows what the future holds in term of potential projects.

However, we can tell you a bit about her publication history. INFAMA made her first appearance in SINNAMON #1 (also published by Catfish Comics), wherein she bedeviled the book's crimson clad heroine. (NOTE: if you want to learn more about Sinnamon, surf over to the Catfish Home Page)

Don't be too shocked, but INFAMA first ran into Sinnamon while leaving a bank she had just robbed. That's right, INFAMA is a genuine Bad Girl who takes whatever she wants when she wants it. How can we give her own book? Well, for some reason, our readers just LOVE her!

INFAMA'S last appearance to date was in the pages of SINNAMON #9. She left the Sisterhood after AEROBICA took offense to a playful pinch and kicked INFAMA into slumberland.

Infama Speaks!

Not literally, of course. But Infama did take a few moments to sit down and talk with a reporter a little while ago. To see what she had to say, click here!

Her Powers

Besides the obvious effect she has on men's libidos, INFAMA is blessed with an incredible source of power in the gem she has upon her throat (what's up with that gem? SINNAMON'S superhuman strength couldn't remove it).

Based on her actions to date, it would seem that the gem is able to create objects out of thin air, at the whim of its owner. INFAMA has been able to create objects powerful enough to lift cars, and as diverse as a barrage of hammers. These objects seem dependent upon the levels of concentration INFAMA can maintain. In SINNAMON #4, INFAMA was chided by her fellow Sisterhood member FLABBIA for letting her concentration wane, allowing SINNAMON to break free of a gem-created vise.

The gem has created objects that allow INFAMA to fly through the air (eg., a giant sized paper airplane in SINNAMON #1), and INFAMA #1 will demonstrate even more creative uses. It would seem that INFAMA owns a very potent weapon.
