�����In our modern day history classes we are taught that the Great Pyramids, and the Sphinx of Egypt were built around 2,500 B.C. �However, there is an abundance of information to prove otherwise. Edgar Cayce was the first person to say that the Sphinx and possibly the Pyramids were actually built around 10,500 B.C. If what Cayce said is accurate that means all
of our history books are lacking something. �Man itself was
still developing during this time frame, therefore, it would have been nearly impossible for them to construct anything so complicated...at least by themselves. If man could not have made anything with such perfection at the time Cayce says they were constructed then some of us may be inclined to dispose of Cayce's theory with no further regard, but before doing so let me present you with two theories that both intrigue me.
Extraterrestrial Help | Help from Atlantis
�����The first of these "coincidences" involves all of the rainfall that occurred during that time, in fact there was enough rain to cause much of the weathering on the Sphinx. �This would explain all the weather marks (caused from heavy rainfall) on the Sphinx. Yet man was not capable of building it during this period in time. �If we look deeper into the subject of 10,500 B.C. we see more interesting facts arrive.
�����If the Sphinx was built around this time then the direction that it is facing would have been exactly where the consetllation Leo used to lay along the horizon. Leo is the constellation which inspired the building of the Sphinx. �Right behind the Sphinx are the Great Pyramids which when viewed from above look exactly like the three stars which make up the belt of the Orion constellation. �To view the images of the pyramids and the Orion constellation click here.
�����Could these two examples prove that man was helped by extraterrestrials? �Watch the picture to the left. �It shows the simmilarities between the Sphinx and the "face" on Mars. �Did they know that there may be life on Mars? �Are these a coincidence, an optical illusion, or are they proof that man has been visited by alien intelligence. �Mabye the ancient Egyptians were trying to recreate what they saw in the sky here on Earth with help from Extraterrestrials.

�����If the people of Atlantis did exist, with their great knowledge they could have used the extremely complicated mathematical equations necessary to build the Pyramids. �Edgar Cayce's name is often associated with the ties between Atlantis and Egypt. �Cayce explained how after the destruction of Atlantis many of the Atlanteans had to flee to other lands, many came in contact wiht the Egyptian culture. �These Atlanteans were the ones who are credited for helping the people of Egypt to create the well known monuments.
