The Three Headed Giant leading a group of his brethren broke into the temple in an attempt to burn any record of their past criminal activity. In the process they managed to do great damage to the halls as well as our records. In response to this, Lord Jupiter has decreed that there shall be three new branches in our temple: the Scholars of Justice, the Defenders of Justice and the Justice Intelligence Agency. It is hoped that the emergence of these branches will thwart future attempts at the destruction of Order and Justice.

Branches, Ranks, and Promotions


The three branches are briefly described below. Each branch has their own unique temple ranks. (See temple ranks.) All members start out as Students of Justice until they select the branch they which to join. Promotions are based on role-play and not levels. (See details on promotions.)

Scholars of Justice.�Responsible for keeping temple records and recording knowledge. Scholars are also responsible for interpreting any information found by other branches. They deal in Runes, Scrolls, Encyption, and ancient texts.

Defenders of Justice.�Our main fighting force. Defenders are on call at all times in readiness to fight off any attacks that come our way. Responsible for battle plans made with the information gathered by the JIA and advice from the Scholars.

Justice Intelligence Agency.�Responsible for intelligence gathering of suspected groups who would do harm to us or our families.

As you can see each branch depends on the others. Without the JIA, we will not have the "information" needed to make intelligent decisions. Information is useless without the "interpretation" of the Scholars. Best laid plans are wasted without the "actions" of the Defenders. The three branches work together as a team bringing JUSTICE to the lands.

Promotions



Promotions are based on participation. The higher the rank, the more is expected of you. For example, as a person gains rank in the temple, they will go from participating in events to actually planning and organizing events. Ways to participate in the temple are role-playing, posting, participating in hunts/events, organizing and planning hunts/events, submission to the website, etc.
A member must be at their rank for at least two weeks prior to promotion. A member will be nominated by their leader of their branch, a minister, a hero or Lord Jupiter. If you feel you have been overlooked, inform someone. Nominated members will be voted on by the directors, the ministers, the heroes and Lord Jupiter. They will base their decisions on the member's participation. All members are responsible for upholding the tenets of Justice, regardless of which branch they are a member of.
Promotions will be announced during the Promotion Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on a regular basis. Members will be promoted regardless if they are able to attend this ceremony or not. Scholars will post promotions in our temple folder.
