Truth Seeker Shy

Physical Description: Shy's a tall and elegant looking human who's manner and bearing leads some to think that she comes from a noble background. She stands resplendent in her Silver mithril Armour her Robes of Justice marks her as one of Jupiter's followers. Her brunette hair falls down her back flowing out behind her as she strides along. Her eyes sparkle brightly with the love she bears for Kilrsat her husband. Despite her probable background Shy greets all with warmth and affection and is ever ready, to help whenever she can no matter whom asks. However, beware, for Shy holds most dearly the traits of honesty and trust and woe betide them who betray her trust.
Hometown: Frostfall (birthplace unknown)
Guild:Battlemages (of which she is a mentor)
Brief History: The first thing to note is that Shy and Fae are not birth sisters but never have two women been closer both would be willing to give up their life for the other without hesitation.

Shy does not know her real parents the only clue is a tattoo, which only three other people have seen. She was a survivor of a shipwreck, which washed her up on the beach just outside of Tranos. There she was found by an Elf ranger who was looking for her husband. She took Shy in and over the years came to love Shy as her own (her husband was never found believed to have been killed by some outlaws). Gladriel was her name and she taught Shy the ways of her people and introduced her to many of the other tribes that were abundant in the lands even teaching her some of the languages as she grew up.

In all the time Shy was with Gladriel, she never wondered about her past life until the fateful day Gladriel never returned from a foraging trip. Shy was nearly 18 by now and had grown into the woman she is now. Strong in arm and heart Shy donned the leather armour she had been given, took up her dagger and went looking for Gladriel. Shy wandered the lands for weeks nearly starving to death as food became harder to find in the mountains. One day spying a city in the distance she made her way northwards only to be jumped on by two Ogres. Shy was no match for these in her weakened state and had realised she was about to die. Shrieking a battlecry at the top of her voice, she attacked. It took a moment to realise that there was now only one Ogre the other lay dead. A warrior stood facing the other soon plunging a strange sword into it. Shy had been rescued by Darden a Battlemage mentor who after healing Shy's wounds explained the ways of the Battlemage. Shy has never looked back joining the Guild as soon as she completed the quest happy knowing that once more she is surrounded by friends and love.

Justice Quote: Justice is the prop by which we manage to live, safe from harm, free from oppression.
Why Justice: The death of Pippin (Gladriel's husband) and the disappearance of Gladriel showed Shy the truth of it!

Clan Teacher Dallan

Physical Description: Dallan is a relatively short Half Ogre (the other half giant). He is HUGE, with a gigantic berserker's axe strapped to his back, or carried in his hands. Dallan also wears shiny bone mithril armour. You wonder how much time he spends per day meticulously cleaning his armour.
Hometown: Devardec
Guild:Barbarian Guild, Mentor
Brief History: My life has been shrouded in mystery. I found out from my brother Uecef, that I was one of the long lost children of Lenin! After working with the scribes of the Branch of Scrolls in the Temple of Justice, I found out my earliest history, back long ago.

My mother was a giant. Not one of the mean ones in the giant lair, nor the stupid frosted ones, nor the ones on the plane of fire. She lived far north of Terris, on a cold continent of ice. She had been one of the few descendants of Lenin that survived the end of his reign, when the children of Lenin were hunted down as animals to make trophies for the rivaling giant clans. My mother, Que'lan was at the age of five when she was rescued by the giant owls that saved Lenin's legacy, and was sent far far away. She was adopted by a clan of ogres living up north, and raised as one of them.

She soon grew fond of the Chieftain's son (by the name of Dallor), and they were wed. She then bore her only son, and combined the names of her and her husband, as was the custom, and they created Dallan. I grew up like most normal ogres, except that because of the crossbreed, I seemed to be shorter than most (don't ask why). But I was at least twice as strong as the others, and they mocked me for not being "normal". At the age of 16 or so, my mother died (scribe's note: Dallan breaks down crying at this point).

A month or so later, a giant owl swept in from the south, and demanded to speak to my mother. The chieftain at the time (Dallan's father) told the owl that his wife had just died, but that she may speak to Dallan instead. The owl agreed, and Dallan was led to the owl. The owl said that Dallan must return to his homelands, and told him that his home was Terris, and not this cold wasteland. So Dallan reluctantly agreed, taking along his small ice axe along with some food, and the owl flew off with Dallan on her back.

After about a year or so of difficult travel, I made it to my new home- Devardec. I felt out of place with all the people, and the heat and smells. The owl sent me to a shopkeeper who would be my master for a year. He had retired from being a knight, and showed me the basics of fighting, gave me room and board, in return for work. I worked hard for that year, and in the end, the shopkeeper sent me off with 500 gold to make my fortune in the world.

Eventually, after being turned down by the knights for being too uncivilized, and not knowing any etiquette at all, I grew desperate. I heard of a town that had been destroyed was being rebuilt, and decided to travel there. I saw this man in front of the largest building I had seen in that town, and greeted him. He offered me a bit of his troll's heart, and laughed when I turned a little green in the face. He said (scribes note: this is how Dallan said the man said it), "So, yoos doan wanna eat 'dis? Weel, Yoos'll soon grow ta love it, if ya want ta join our clan. If yoos kill an' ogre, I may make ya a barb. Ya doan fit in any other guild."

So Dallan set forth on one of his first major quests. Kill an ogre. After a long struggle, Dallan managed to slay the ogre using his bare hands, and his puny little ice pick, and practically ran back to the guild. "Mr Barb! Me kill dat ogre real good, jus' like yoos say Dallan should!" The barbarian looked at Dallan's blood spattered armour and said, "Yup, dat looks like ogre blood. Good job boy, now go talk to da big tall barb to the east, an' he'll teach yoos some stuff free of charge!" With that he grins, and tosses Dallan a troll's heart. Welcome home, barb!"
Family: Me been married wit' Glofishy a long time now, and we gots a daughter named Delos! She be... umm... 'bout 4 or 5 now mebbe a bit more... Dallan can't remember. :) Uecef is deceased. :(

Zifnab

Physical Description: Zifnab is a Human Shaman standing about 5 foot 6 inches tall. His face is deeply lined, showing the great knowledge and wisdom known only to those of great age. Sprouting from his face is the cliche`, but chic, long white wizard's beard. Dressed in robes, an old wizards hat, headband, and some armour that nature has provided for him, he Hopes to serve Justice as best he may.
Hometown: The Targan City of Mulak
Guild:Druids, a Teacher therein as well
Brief History: Well, to make it brief, my mother was a concubine of a very wealthy and powerful Targan Lord. I am the result of his lust, and was born one morning to my mother, in a horse stall. My mother thought it best that I hide away until I was old enough not to be questioned as to where I popped up from. So, for 15 years of my life I lived in the shadows of the Keep, eating what I could steal or get from my mother, and sleeping with the horses. Well, my brother, being a bit on the dumber and larger side, trained in the arts of war, where I found my talent helping people. I was about escape, when Disaster struck. My mother was killed. She had been killed in bout of extremely painful torture at the hands of the Targan lord. My brother went berserk. He killed every single Targan he could find, ending with the slow death of the Lord. He then ran off, and I have never seen him about again. I took this as much more of a blow, as I had been closer to mother than had Malacra. After I saw all this carnage, I decided that never shall I shed the blood of another, ever.... I did some travel in Targan lands after that, helping the sick, and tending to the slaves of the Targan Lords. I was never bothered, because my talents for healing were unmatched in these primitive lands. But, one day, I happened upon a slave ship bound for a land called Terris, which I boarded, and my life was never the same again, but, that is another story......
Family: Malacra, formerly of the Knights, Formerly of the Temple of Zir, Formerly of the Enchanters, Formerly of Change, presently of the Monks & The Temple of Mystery.
Justice Quote: "If ya can't beat'em, hide in the shadows, wait till they pass, hit'em with a large cold, wet fish, and run like a small goblin"
Why Justice: Besides I get to ride around on a large lion? Well, I felt that the Realms was not doing enough to make it safer for honest folks to live in, and I felt I could help out.

Knight of Jupiter Litnig, JIA Investigator

Physical Description: I am a small Ogre, only 6' tall. I have brown eyes and black hair. My skin is a dull shade of grey, as with most Ogres. I usually wear my Knightly gear, complete with plumed helm, and ride upon an armoured stallion.
Hometown: Devardec
Guild: Knights
Brief History: I was born into a family of Half-Ogre nobles living on the edge of the Ogreish civilization and making sure nothing got into the actual city. My elder brother Litquick was the first to leave the home. He went to the normal lands of Terris to adventure. He came back and visited every once in awhile and I grew up on his stories. After I became of age, I followed in his footsteps, but turned down his warrior's guild and joined the Knights, believing in justice from the start. After a few years of mulling it over, I decided to apply for the temple of justice, I did, and here I am.
Family: Brother Litquick. Fiancee: Nubi (err...as soon as Jupiter gets on so can I get him to marry us. ;-p)
Why Justice: Because from my brother's stories I knew the innocent of Terris desperately needed protection, not only from outside monsters, but from outlaws too, I knew that the Temple of Justice would give me a supportive family and also teach me how to protect innocents all the better..

Zarael

Physical Description: Tall and Strong Ogre Sorceror with short bright red hair. He always wears his blue mithril armour, (an almost complete collection) and his robes of justice. He is about 7 feet 2 inches and weighs about 250 pounds of pure muscle, though his real power is in his mind. He often wields a staff of fate, found in the Daemon Citadel.
Family:
Hometown: Devardec
Guild:Wizard's, Soverign of Storms and Mentor in Training
Brief History: I was born in Woodtop, but my early years are not clear at all. I am now 27 years old, and have spent all 27 years on my own. I met the Oracle at Woodtop, and he advised me to go to Devardec and join the Wizard's Guild. He sensed my deep understanding of Magic, and i guess wanted me to use it for good not evil. So i set off, and joined immediately. I was fortunate to have the Wizard GM at the time, Raislin, to aid me in what i should learn. He taught me well, and I set off in training and questing, aiding many, including a Washerwoman, a Fireman, some students, a few young mothers, and many others. Before I knew it I was somewhat powerful. I then spent my time hunting, and having a lot of fun. I then joined the Temple of Justice, which has been one of the few major events in my short but potential filled life. I had a council in which the leaders of many brances and the Lord Jupiter himself attended. I failed my first council, but passed my second and was admitted. I chose the JIA branch because i was confident in my ability to discover things, as shown in my many quests i have accomplished. I hope to prosper more, in the name of the Wizard's Guild, and in the name of Justice.
Justice Quote:Knowledge is true power, and magic is true might.
Why Justice: To help others, meet people, and learn from those who can and are willing to help me.
