Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat is a tournament that decides the fate of a realm. To enter a realm, the outsider must win ten straight tournaments. The emperor of Outworld has won nine against Earth. Now starts the tenth and most important one:
Liu Kang has a dream of his younger brother, Chan, being killed by Shang Tsung. He returns from America to the Temple of the Order of Light. His grandfather shows him where Chan's body was found. Liu Kang wishes to represent the Order of Light at the tournament, but he's not ready. Rayden, god of thunder and lightning, confirms this, but he goes anyways. Johnny Cage is an actor. He does martial arts movies, but the press thinks he's a fake, so when Shang Tsung, disguised, tells him that the tournament will help his career, he rushes to Hong Kong for the boat. Sonya Blade 
is chasing down Kano, who murdered her partner. She sees him going on Shang Tsung's boat and follows him aboard. There, she meets Johnny Cage, whom she thinks is a looser, and Liu Kang. Sonya goes down the stairs to find Shang Tsung. Johnny Cage and Liu Kang follow her. Shang Tsung summons Sub-Zero, who freezes Sonya's gun, and Scorpion 
who's about to use his harpoon. Rayden throws them against the wall with his lightning and reprimands Shang Tsung for attacking prematurely. While following Rayden, Liu Kang tells the other two that Rayden's the god of lightning, and protector of the realm of Earth. Rayden tells them about Mortal Kombat and that one of the three of them will decide the outcome of the tournament. The boat reaches Shang Tsung's island. Sonya tries to contact Jax, her other partner, but can't. They see Princess Kitana. 
Shang Tsung tells Reptile to keep her away from our trio. During dinner, Shang Tsung interrupts, and has his men turn the tables over. He has Sub-Zero make a demonstration by freezing a guy in the middle of a jump kick. Sonya starts following Shang Tsung because he knows where Kano is. Johnny Cage and Liu Kang follow. They see Goro's shadow. They secretly witness a conversation between Kano, Gorro and Shang Tsung. Shang Tsung's warning Gorro to be careful, and to make sure Princess Kitana doesn't join with the forces of Earth ("especially Liu Kang") because she's now 10 000 years old and the rightful heir to the throne of Outworld. Our trio decides to leave at this point and find that the hallway changed. They see Kitana and attempt to follow, but Reptile spits in Liu Kang's face, and they loose her. Johnny Cage leads them into a room where they are assaulted by Shang Tsung's men. They win and Rayden leads them out. The tournament begins the next day. Liu Kang fights first and wins. Shang Tsung takes the soul of the looser. Sonya fights Kano and kills him by breaking his neck. Johnny Cage faces Scorpion, trying not to get caught by the harpoon. When he does the Shadow Kick, Scorpion teleports
him to his home (which kinda looks like hell). Johnny Cage uses a spiked shield, slashes at him while he has his mask off, making him explode. Liu Kang is against Kitana. She gives him tips for the next fight and gets diqualified (or something like that). He then fights Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero does this:
and Liu Kang throws a bucket of water at him, killing him (/freezing him). Johnny Cage fights Gorro and does the ball breaker after his sunglasses are crushed. Gorro falls of the cliff. Shang Tsung takes Sonya to Outworld. Liu Kang and Johnny Cage follow. Reptile is also there, and fights, but is killed by Liu Kang with the bicycle kick. Kitana tells them about what the emperor did to her parents, and that he adopted her to get the throne. She tells Liu Kang that he must face his enemy, himself and worst fear. In the Black Tower, Shang Tsung is holding Sonya captive. He challenges her, but she refuses. Johnny Cage, Liu Kang and Kitana are there. He challenges Johnny Cage, but Liu Kang intercepts and challenges. In the middle, Shang Tsung gets mad and summons the souls of other warriors to fight. Liu Kang defeats them and goes up the stairs to face Shang Tsung. Shang Tsung makes himself turn into Chan to try to unbalance Liu Kang, but it doesn't work. Liu Kang kills him by doing the fireball, making him fall on the spikes. They go back to the Temple of Light where Rayden's waiting for them. They see Shao Kahn (the emperor) in the sky, and he says, "You weak pathetic fools, I've come for your souls!" Rayden answers, "I don't think so!"
Here ends Mortal Kombat and begins Annihilation
