Mellee Weapons

Although Powered Armor is not always the best suited for Hand to Hand combat, it is actually quite often that it does end up in that theatre. More often than not hand to hand combat among PA units, is conducted through fists and feet, but as more and more power armor units are pumped out of Desert Star, the CS has even begun to equip their newer units with hand to hand weapons, namely the Super Samas.

Climbing Claws: See Movement Systems.
Heavy Bladed Weapons: This is an utra-dense bladed weapon (ie Axe, Halberd, Sword, ect.) designed to withstand the stress of a blow inflicted by the mechanical construct designed to weild it. The Axe is a very common added weapon among the Nomad Power Armor. (MDC: 80!) It typically adds 1D6 to 2D6MD to the normal punch damage.
Heavy Blunt Weapons: This is a scrounged weapon, typically a mass salvaged from a battlefield, perhaps an arm from another suit of power armor. However occasionally a unit is designed with a blunt weapon, such as a mace or warhammer. These are often even tougher than the Heavy Bladed Weapons (With 100-120MDC) They typically inflict 1D6-2D6MD in addition to the normal punch damage.
Power Saw "Buzz" Mk1: This is a forearm mounted Disk Saw. It is designed primarily as a utility device, but since civilian powered armor is so rare, it has since become a deadly mellee weapon! It is extremely tough and durable, (MDC: 60) and capable of inflicting awesome damage. (6D6MD!!!)
Power Saw "Ripper" Mk2: This is another forearm mounted weapon, but is actually a high powered diamond bladed chain saw! This was also primarily designed for use in the lumber industry, however once again, since civilian powered armor is so rare, it has become a nasty device against organic and not quite so well against non organic material. (MDC: 50) (1D6x10MD!!/5D6MD)
Vibro Weapons: Common: These are your' typical run of the mill vibro weapons. These can be forearm mounted or carried. These are knives, claws, swords, lances, polearms, spears, or axes. They can add anywhere from 1D6MD-3D6MD in addition to the normal punch damage.
Vibro Weapons: Hi Boost: These weapons are a bit more advanced, this is accomplished by using a Carbon Crystal super conductor that is developed in the zero gravity environment so easily accessable in the Three Galaxies! This calibre of CCSC is not accessable by the CS , Triax or even The Japanese Republic, simply because at this current time none of the three have any kind of anti gravity technology, nor do they have any form of industry in a gravitationally deprived environment, so therefore it is theoretically impossible for them to create a flawless crystal, without the assistance of a Crystal Smith or Stone Master. (2D6MD for knives, 4D6MD for swords, and 6D6MD for large swords or polearms. (For claws calculate 2D6MD per blade and total the damage up, maximum number of claws is 4.)
Energy Weapons: Energy swords, knives, and other such mellee weapons are still in the infant stages and have not been developed into a reliable system as of yet. Studies are currently in the making of Nauruni Energy Swords and Axes, (See Nauruni Death Knight & Mecha-Knight) to attempt to reproduce this technology.
