Movement Systems

The following systems enhance, in some way, the Power Armor units manuverability. Whether it be to increase the unit's speed, add flight abilities, underwater propultion, ect.

Climbers: These are blades installed in the forearms or hands in addition to a set of claws installed on either foot, intended to give the Power Armor unit the capabilities to climb without special climbing gear. However more often than not these tools are put into use as weapons by despirate pilots. They add 1D6MD to all Punches and Kicks, when employing the climber claws.
Jet Thruster Pack Mk1: This back mounted Jet thruster pack is not unlike that employed by the CS Samas units, with rear facing burners, foreward facing intakes, and an array of three lower manuvering jets. It is capable of fair speed, while keeping the entire units front facing the direction in which it is moving, allowing it to be a stable weapons platform. (Max Speed Possible: 450mph)
Jet Thruster Pack Mk2: This back mounted Jet Thruster is more similar to an oversized Jet Pack, as it's thrusters face down toward the feet, and the intakes face upwards. it is this design that is capable of the greatest speeds, while allowing more thruster space, it also utilizes the aerodynamics of the suit. (Think about it, a unit flying more like superman has much less of an area for air to resist against.) (Max Speed Possible: Mach 2.)
Jet Thruster Pack Mk3: The most common of the types of thruster packs is the leg mounted thrusters, that gives the unit limited flight capabilities, making it more for use as jump jets, or short range flight. (Max Speed: 200mph).
Jet Thruster Pack Accessory Unit: An unusual concept not normally considered for Earth bound nations, a conversion kit that permits a units use in space! This includes a series of six directional thrusters, and special cooling units. This can be used with any of the three Jet Thruster Pack types. Some Mercs purchase this accessory unit to simply rid themselves of the vulnerable Air Intakes involved with thruster packs.
Under Water Thruster Pack Mk1: Unlike most types of power armor jet thrusters, those produced by Desert Star are not designed for use while immersed in water, therefore cannot function. This led to the production of this thruster pack not unlike the Jet Thruster Pack Mk 2 in outward design, however internally are six electrically driven rotors, 3 in each series (ie there are two sections, where water is brought in the top of the thruster pack, accelerated even more in the middle, and then expelled at the rear of the pack by the final rotor.). This pack is installed usually in any unit designed specifically for sea operations. (Max Speed: 75mph)
Under Water Thruster Pack Mk2: This Pack was developed specifically at the request of a purchaseing nation, they wanted a leg mounted thruster pack, and this they got. Although this pack takes less space, it sacrifices this in speed. (Max Speed: 50mph)
