History:
An Italian resturant that has been in the family since its founding in 1915. During the curse of the resturants’ lifetime it has been called the best Italian resturant of New York in 2015 by the Cooking Channel . It has also been named in the top ten places to eat by the New York Times. All through out our history we have only used the finest and freshest ingrediants that can be obtianed. We have moved from our original place on Amanda Street to our current place back in 2011 to accomidate for more customers.
Head Chef:
Chef Aria Moretti was born in Florence, Italy. She is a graduate of Florence Culinary Art School. She relocated to New York City to pursue her career. She has been the head chef for five years. When she is not at work she can be found perfecting her skills in her kitchen at home or out traveling with her husband. Whenever she made a new dish she would have her husband try it. Moretti has been married to her husband for 3 years, who is the son of the owners.
Owners:
The owners, Nick Moretti and Kathy Moretti, has been the owners of Pasta Amore for the past twenty five years. They can be found at the resturant helping out wherever is needed. Nick Moretti graduated from New York University with a bachalors in business while Kathy Moretti graduated from Ohio University with a bachlors degree in Journalism. They have been married for thirty years and have 3 kids, two sons and a daughter. If they are not found in the resturant they can be found at art musuems or out and about in the city.
