from [email protected] - July 2000 - Hey guys just to let you know, the structure fire last night was in Benson on Rte 144, Hubbardton was toned to respond directly to the scene while Castleton was dispatched to standby for Hubbardton. Those towns are essentially due west of Rutland City. The majority of the departments down here are on 154.250 which is our dispatch channel, and when a unit signs on, we all automatically switch over to our fireground channels. And when we are on mutual aid calls with several towns involved, the Rutland County Firefighters Association has two countywide fireground channels to work with which are one 154.010 and 154.265.
