Utah, founded in 1896, is a beautiful state known for its natural beauty. Utah alone has five of our country’s national parks. From Arches, to Bryce Canyon, from Canyonlands, to Capitol Reef and Zion, Utah is full of places to visit. Utah is said to have the best skiing in the country and in fact hosted the 2002 winter olympics. The capitol of Utah is Salt Lake City. Utah was named after the Native American Tribe “Ute” which means people of the mountains. With low crime rates and plenty of things to do, Utah is great for families! From snowy mountains to the countryside, to the dry desert of southern Utah, there is something here for everyone!
