Sometimes this page describes me...
This is my webpage. It's a lot of black and white text because I believe in the intrigue of words alone. (Also, for a long time, I made this site with nothing but Notepad...)
If you saw me on the street, I would look like your average person.
I drive on the left hand side of the road. Fortunately, so do most of the other people that drive around here.
I communicate often in English, sometimes in French, occasionally in telepathy and mostly to other people.
My Myers-Briggs type is INFP.
Sometimes I am a songwriter, a singer, a composer or a musician, but mostly just a singer/songwriter/composer, because instruments inhibit me. ;) If you're confused about my influences, check my Recommended Listening page. Rundown on the tools of my trade are on the Stats page.
I wrote my first song when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I remember it, but I've decided that for the sake of my reputation the first public performance of this piece was also the last.
I'm lucky to have a flatmate that I get along with well, because he likes to sing as much as I do. Our tastes are a bit different: I sing along to the radio, whereas he prefers the squeak of the door hinges, the bathroom extractor fan, and the vacuum cleaner. I do however really like his style otherwise - for one thing, his entire body is the cutest shade of bright yellow...
Sometimes I am a librarian. Sometimes I am also a teacher, a counsellor, a computer support person, a phone directory, a research assistant, a map, a superhero, a salesperson and an artist. But so are all the other librarians I know.
At the age of 21 I achieved my life goal of having more letters after my name than in it, and now I have a business card to prove it. (Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should aim for now...?)
I believe that Ashleigh Brilliant has already said so much that I wish I could say...
I like the fact that this page exists, because sometimes it makes me look more impressive than I really am.
The answer to other questions I get asked is yes I do, no I won't, and neither can you. ;)
