p r o c e s s this is Tim Escobedo's Thing Modulator built with my layout. great sounding, simple circuit if you can find the LMC567. i found mine at Digikey under "LMC567CN-ND". i did try a "LM567CN" first, but i could not get it to work at all. this was my first attempt at etching enclosures with ferric chloride. take my advice: do not use model enamel paint for this process. sure, the etchant can't touch it, but it's nearly impossible to sand off afterwards. that's the gray stuff you can see on the surface. i've learned my lesson, and my next enclosure etch will be better. |
