p r o c e s s i needed something to tap tempo and start/stop my drum machine with my feet. i built this, which connects to the machine with a 5 pin din cable and connectors. both footswitches are momentary, just like the buttons on the machine. i simply soldered a wire to the 2 places per button that are connected to activate whatever the button controls. those wires go to a 5 pin connector, then through the cable, into the remote, then to the footswitches. i might install a tempo led in it sometime. |
