Vinjamuri not only set music to his own compositions, he had also set music to other composer's compositions and introduced them to the music world by singing them in the concerts. It was one of many ways in which he served the World Of Music, propagating the merit of the well known and the less known composers.

  1. Annamaacharya Samkeertanas:

    2. It is not known to many that Vinjamuri was the first front rank Musician who not only set music to Annamaacharya Keertanas but also sang them in regular concerts even in the early 1950's, much before anyone else sang. He was a regular visitor to Titupati Utsavams where, in those concerts, he invariably sang atleast one Annamaacharya kriti that was set to music by himself. Even though, Rallapalli Anantha Krishna Sharma, a noted Musicologist, and, TNCV Narayana Charyulu, a noted Veena Vidwan, also set Annamaacharya Keertanas to Music, they were never sung in concerts by top Musicians.

    3. Vinjamuri regularly sang Purandaradasa Kritis in his concerts, even from early 1940s and popularized many kritis by singing them himself for the first time. "Yare Rangana" in the raga Hindolum was his specialty. He had set to music a number of Purandara Dasa Kritis too.

  4. Andal Thiruppavai:            

    5. Vinjamuri has set to music the famous 30 Thiruppavai Pasurams of Sri Andal and those were sung and broadcast by him over All India Radio during Margazhi Masam, every year, from 1956 to 1966. He always included atleast one Pasuram in his concerts.

    The Pasurams with his notation are being published as a book.

  5. Musical Operas:

    6. Vinjamuri has set to music, directed and produced a number of Musical Operas, which were broadcast by AIR Hyderabad and Madras stations in the 1950s and 1960s.

    8. Vinjamuri had produced and presented a number of musical features on - Saint Thyagaraja, Deekshitar, Shyama Sastry, Swati Tirunal, Purandaradasa, Annamaacharya, Munipalli Subrahmanya Kavi, Ramadas, Arunachala Kaviyar, Mysore Sadasiva Rao, Patnam Subrahmanya Iyer and others

  8. Bhakthi Sthotrams:

    9. Vinjamuri had set to music and broadcast on AIR, Hyderabad, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Karavalambana Sthotram, Yadagiri Lakshmi Narasimha Suprabhatam and others. These can be heard on AIR, Hyderabad, even now.
