Belarusian magazines in Australia
‘Na varte’. Printed by Wladimir Shnek under Belarusian Vyzvolny Front umbrella in 1955-1956. Known only 4 issues.
‘Ersh’. A satirical magazine of BCR fraction (under BVF umbrella). 12 issues are known. Last 4 were printed as an addition to newspaper 'Na varte’ (1955-1956). Editor: Wladimir Shnek (Melbourne).
‘Luchnik’ was printed by Danat Jatskevicz in 1952-1958 as the publication of Belarusian Veterans Association in Australia. First issuers were printed once a month, however later the magazine was printed less and less. Known 22 publications were printed in Brisbane.
‘The New Life’ a magazine of Belarusian Association in Australia. Sydney. The most productive and creative were the first seven issues of ‘The New Life’ magazine in 1950 as non-political publications under Wladimir Klunitski supervision. However in 1951 Belarusian community in Sydney were under political pressure from different political groups: BNR and BCR (krivichi and b-tsea-arowtsi). From this time ‘The New Life’ magazine was printed by two organisations: by supporters of Belarusian Association in Australia (‘b-tsea-arowtsi’: Stephan Shnek, Sergey Rozmysl, Adam Zurawlevich) in Melbourne. Later (1957-1960) the publication of magazine was moved back to Sydney to Michael Zuj and Ales Alechnik, but was closed by Alechnik very soon). Belarusian Association in NSW (krivichi) was printing the magazine as well in 1951-1953 (by Alexander Small, Michael Luzynski and Wladimir Bakunowich), but was closed after Mr. Bakunowich has moved to Europe. ‘The New Life’ N1. The publication of magazine is renewed under Belarusian Historical Society in Australia umbrella by Viktor Kovalevski in Adelaide. The magazine N1 is not printed yet, as it is the collection of Belarusian Association in South Australia Newsletter (published by Viktor Kovalevski). It will be printed in 2008 or 2009. ‘The New Life’ N2. 2003. Adelaide. 90 pages. ‘The New Life’ N3 - 2004. Adelaide. 130 pages. Dadatak to ‘The New Life’ N3 - 2004. Critical view of film ‘Vostraw Antipodaw’, 24 pages. At first the Dadatak was printed separately, but later was moved into one body of magazine N3. ‘The New Life’ N4 - 2005. Adelaide. 256 pages. The DVD disc film ‘In memory of Wladimir Okowity’ is included. ‘The New Life’ N5 – 2006 (A4 size), 139 pages. ‘The New Life’ N6 – 2007 (A4 size), 56 pages.
Belarusian information bulletins

- Federal Rada Bulletins. N1-N4 (articles of Scabey, Nikan, and Rollson) were printed in 1983-4. N5 was printed in 1985 (Attention to Reunion N7 – 1987, Rollson, Nikan, Rajetski, Scabey articles). N6 and N7 published in 1988.
- Belarusian Association in South Australia Newsletter. The first 5 issues were printed in 1999. Then in 2000 Viktor Kovalevski printed another 4 issues (N6-N9). Active print was motivated by the relocation of Belarusian Church in Adelaide and the changes in the committee membership level (V.Rev. Michael Burnos resigned as a prist in 1999, as well as Mr. Okowity was not elected as committee chairman). Then the necessity to print so many newsletters dropped down. N10 - October 2001 and practically one-two newsletters a year. In March 2007 was printed N24.
