Belarusian churches
Belarusian Orthodox Authocephalic Church in Adelaide. Foundation laid in 1961, the building was finished and blessed in 1963. First priest – Rev. Michael (Szczurko). Second priest: (from 1965) - Vasil Chechelis. From 1973 - George Denlich. From 1978 - Augen Sitnik. From 1987 - Michael Burnos (resigned in 1999). In 2000 paraphia has invited a Ukrainian priest V.Rev. Peter Kasatski, but not for long time. In 2003 the committee of UAOC in Adelaide has refused the service of Rev. Eugene Kwasniuk, who was invited to Adelaide Belarusian Church and does the service since then.
