Well, more precisely, classic westerns that I've enjoyed.
Director: | Sergio Corbucci |
Starring: | Klaus Kinski Jean-Louis Trintignant |
This is a desperately bleak Western, made bleaker by its wintry setting. Klaus Kinski plays a chillingly evil, but unexpectedly polite, bounty hunter. He is opposed by Jean-Louis Trintignant in the role of Silence, a mute hunter of bounty hunters. Sergio Corbucci's direction is brilliant in this film, and the haunting, almost eerie score is one of Morricone's best.
More Westerns will be added here as I have time to work on the site.
