The Instructions

This will tell you how to build the side panels, but it doesn't tell you about the front, back, floor, or roof panels. If you click on the picture a full size version will be loaded into your browser, but you will need to use your back, or return, button to come back to this page. To save the picture to your computer, just right click the enlarged version with your pointing device and choose "Save As".

I'll try and figure out the missing dimensions soon.

The Parts

The parts can be made mostly from sign sheet stock, but for best results I would recommend purchasing the horizontal lined plastic sheets from a hobby store to save time.  The trim can be made from cutting 1mm strips of plastic or by purchasing it while you buy the sheet plastic.

The other parts you are going to have to source out as I have no idea where they could be purchased. I'll update this if I find a source.

The Side Panels

There are two ways you can make these. You can either measure everything out on the plastic panels themselves or you can scale the enlarged picture down, print it out, cut the picture into a pattern, and mark the plastic that way.

Either way works perfectly well, its just a matter or choice on the way you want to do it.

The Frame

This is a part of the SJS Camper instructions that I cropped to just show the frame layout. It may not be 100% correct for this camper, but it'll work for a basic frame.

The Roof Sail Panels

These are not really needed, but if you are trying to make the camper look period correct you'll have to make them.  Click on the pictures for a larger, better readable version. Once again you'll have t use your back, or return, button to come back to this page.

If you don't feel like building your own, a resin kit can be bought from The Modelhaus. Personally, if I didn't build my own trailers I would purchase the kit from them. Every item I have bought from the company has been top notch!
