Jay grew up [[Methodist]], although no [[religion]] was claimed until Jay was 9 years old. Jay started collecting miniature buildings when his mom brought back a miniature [[Washington Monument]] from [[Washington, DC]] when he was 2. However, his miniature city was started when he built a town out of legos because he was bored one day. He decided he liked the idea of having a miniature city so he decided to keep it. Jay still has the washington monument but the lego buildings were later destroyed and the lego pieces were reused for other stuff. He now has 1000+ miniature buildings in his room and various parts of his house.
