I, Jay Myers (Hurricane Jay), in order to form a more perfect life, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to myself and my posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution for Jay Myers (Hurricane Jay).

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament. We believe that Scripture in its entirety originated with God and that it was given through chosen persons used as instruments. Scripture thus at one and the same time speaks the authority of God and reflects the backgrounds, styles, and vocabularies of the human authors. We hold that the Scriptures are infallible and inerrant in the original manuscripts. They have the unique, full, and final authority on all matters of faith and practice, and there are no other writings similarly inspired by God.

Inerrant – free from error

Infallible – incapable of error in defining doctrains regarding faith or morality

All of evangelical Christianity is settled on the doctrinal teaching of Scripture and belief in the Bible; however, individual interpretation of content varies according to denominational preferences, good or bad.

ABC’s of Salvation

A – ACCEPT

Accept that you are a sinner and realize that your sins have separated you from a loving God.

1. …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

B – BELIEVE

Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and the answer to your sin problem.

1. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)

C – CHOOSE Choose to repent of your sins.

1. Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)

Choose to confess Jesus as your Savior and Lord.

1. That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Choose to be baptized just as Jesus was.

1. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)

2. Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)

Choose to live for Jesus.
