THE ORIGINS
SNP always felt that Joe's story was likely to be true but at the same time it was also clearly rather dramatised.
We accepted that though. It all happened 2 decades ago, so details would be hard to recall and it's only understandable that personal pride can lead to embellishment of the story.
Joe's story then is remarkable enough but in June 2002 there came another twist to this tale when SNP was contacted by Jed Yingst.
Jed Yingst is the "Gerald" that Joe Cicak said he fell out with.
What follows is Jed's view of events, edited from his correspondence with SNP.
