The Foundation is an organization composed of other non-profit organizations, which represent appraisers and users of appraisal services. These organizations are affiliated with the Foundation through Sponsoring Organizations and various Advisory Councils."

    "I worked for the US Postal Service for over 30 years and retired in 2001. I started in a management training program in Jamaica, Queens, NY. I held numerous positions in the Northeast Region including General Manager of the JFK and LaGuardia Air Mail Facilities and regional Director of Mail Processing. I moved to Postal Headquarters in 1988 as the Assistant Postmaster General for Mail Processing and Transportation. Over the next 13 years in Headquarters I worked in seven officer positions in Operations and Marketing. I joined the Smithsonian Institution in 2002 as the Director of the National Postal Museum.     The Washington Stamp Collectors Club (WSCC) was formed on January 1, 2006, through a merger of the Collectors Club of Washington (CCW; founded 1927) and the Washington Philatelic Society (WPS; founded 1905). This re-unites the clubs seperated for 79 years.
