Please visit the Joe Melson website Help! Looking for info on the following songs [Artist/Label/etc.] This Town [Folger/Melson] Anette & Ork. Help! I've located the following song but I need help translating it. I believe it is "What should I do?" . It's written by Dan and Joe Melson with new words by Peter Spar. The title is "Hvad gor jeg nu?" and was recorded by Anette on the Triloa label [TD-390]. The flip side is titled "Mr.Rockefeller". • "How did "Weeping Annaleah" come about?" - Mickey [ Newbury ] started it, and Dan came in and together they worked up the music and the words for the choruses, and named it. 
• "Is Barbara Mills Larry Henley's sister"? - No, he's [Dan] almost certain she is not... he never heard that at all.
• "Was Dan in the Graduates when they recorded Seventh Generation Breakthrough", and was he doing the keyboards at the end of it? - Yes, Dan did the keyboards. Charlie McCoy produced it.
• The Extremes - Dan mentioned that Skip Gibbs* was a member of the Extremes. * Skip Gibbs discography includes "Ann", "No more last time", "Buckaroo cowboy", "Ain't it funny when you're lonely", "Chokin' kind", and "Oh, happy day" among others.~Spike
• Dan mentioned that "Any Old Time was actually written only by him (DWF), even though credit was also given to Joe [Melson].

• Dan said he and Joe [Melson] wrote a song called "I'd Like To Have A Party" - in the early 60's . He does not know if anyone ever recorded it. Same for a song called "This Town".
• "Anything on Edie Walker or Rising Sons records"? - No, on both questions. Little is know about this singer. Anyone have any info on her? Apparently she only recorded 4 songs for Rising Sons Records , "Stop along the way" , "Living on a prayer, a hope, and a hand" , "Good guys", and "Young tears don't fall forever". ~Spike

• "Wayward Girl" was co-written by Dan and Joe, and Dan is pretty sure that Joe did a demo on it. Dan says he really liked that song.
• Dan DID do a demo of "Leavin' Makes The Rain Come Down".....!
• He also said that "Maurie" was NOT written with Roy in mind, and that it had been initially Mickey's idea for a song, and Dan came in on it and they finished it together.
• I also asked him about his time with Mickey in Nashville. He said that they actually lived together for about a total of a year and a half.... a year or so in a house, and then six months or so in an apartment (The Executive House Apartments)
