CATHERINE MCCLEMENTS

Catherine McClements is a very talented lady who was born in Melbourne and loves her television career. As a young child Catherine found herself in her first acting class with her sister, as her after school pottery class was canceled. She acted with the St. Martin's Youth Company in Melbourne for two years before going to NIDA.

Then being a 1985 graduate, Catherine went on to take the lead roles in WEEKEND WITH KATE - opposite Colin Friels, STRUCK BY LIGHTNING and REDHEADS. She also went on to try her hand at theatre where she had roles in ANGELS IN AMERICA, THE CRUCIBLE, CRYSTAL CLEAR and THE IMAGINARY INVALID.

After these stage and Television successes Catherine landed the role of Rachel "Goldie" Goldstein on channel nine's acclaimed popular police drama WATER RATS in 1996, but sadly left at the end of season 5 in 2000, while on a job with Christey, where she was stabbed, with no backup she died.
