The following extracts from 300's logbook give an idea of its activity in that period and the ever-present losses.

April 2nd. Raids on St. Nazaire and L'Orient.  One aircraft returned with serious damage.
April 4th. Raid on Kiel. Rear gunner reported three attacks by a Bf 110 which he finally shot down.
April 6th.  Air-sea rescue.
April 8th.  One aircraft failed to return from Duisburg.
April 16th. Raid on Mannheim.  Aircraft BH-C attacked three times by a Bf110. Fights back but is damaged. Crew of              aircraft BH-E machine-guns a train in Germany.
April 2nd. One aircraft failed to return from mining operations off L'Orient.
May12th.  AOC Group presented squadron members with DFC, DFM, MC and MM.
May 13th. One aircraft failed to return from Duisburg.
May 21st. Mine laying off the Friesian Islands.  One aircraft shot up but returned to base.
May 23rd. One aircraft failed to return from Dortmund.
May 24th. Dusseldorf attacked.
May 27th. Essen attacked.
May 29th.  First attack on Wuppertal. Aircraft caught in searchlights, damaged but bombed target from low altitude,             returned to base with 25 holes in fuselage.
June 11th. Fifteen aircraft attacked Dusseldorf.
June 21st. Two aircraft failed to return from Krefeld; 15 aircraft engaged by the enemy.
June 27th. One aircraft failed to return from Wuppertal; 11 aircraft engaged.

June 28th. One aircraft failed to return from Cologne; 8 aircraft engaged.
