a). He is not married. Or so it would seem because he does not wear any rings, much less a wedding ring. (Which is a tricky thing to determine for a newscaster.)
b). He's British. Although, his parents are from India. [HI KAVI!] So, being British, he has a gorgeous little accent! No cockney here! :-D
c). He graduated from University College London with a degree in history of art.
d). He lives in Atlanta. He obviously does, because that's where the CNN World News is based. (I've got some friends in Atlanta that I'll be visiting ALOT more often.)
e). He's a Virgo! I'm a Cancer, and we go perfectly together! ;-)
Well, here is what else I know about him bluntly, which I stole from the CNN website: Shihab Rattansi is an anchor for CNN International. Based at CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta, he anchors World News.
Prior to his work at CNN, Rattansi was with Channel News Asia, the pan-Asian satellite news channel based in Singapore. While with CNA, he covered political and economic developments in Southeast Asia, reporting from across the region and anchoring a weekly current affairs program.
Rattansi has been working in television news production in Europe and Asia since 1993.
He was born and raised in Britain, where he studied art history at University College London.
