Seiya comes in the beginning of the Sailor Stars season after the big fight with Neherenia. He is a part of the Singing group, the Three Lights, which his two friends, Taiki and Yaten, are also a part of. Seiya, like the others, is actually not from earth but from a different planet known as Kinmoku Star and aren't even from the same solar system. Together, they formed the group, the Three Lights, to help Princess Fireball find them. Seiya is also a Sailor Starlight; he and his friends have an interesting little way of transforming into girls. As Sailor Star Fighter he is pretty strong. When Sailor Moon first attempts to ally with the Starlights, Uranus tells her not to trust theml; Uranus does not trust the Starlights (probably because they don't come from the same solar system).
As far as his/her love life goes, he could have most girls but instead he goes for Serena. He has even kissed her. And he calls her odango, which seems to be the thing people call Usagi when they are attracted to her.

The Three Lights are very popular and many girls have crushes on him.

Taiki is also a Sailor Starlight. An interesting group of guys who transform into girls.
