Silent Witness

Up until the recent series I was something of a sporadic viewer of Silent Witness. As a result of this I don't have all the facts on the characters. So I'm asking for your help.
I'm looking for any and all info and the characters, right down to the most random of facts (like "sometimes eats ham sandwiches") which can be used as a point of reference for fan fic writers.

The BBC website only gives a little bit of info for each character, so with the help of the forum users I've put together the little snippets below. Of course if there's anything you can add to this I'd be really grateful. You can either post it in the forum or e-mail me at .

Leo Dalton
Since Sam Ryan left Leo has been promoted.
In 2005 his wife and daughter (Cassie), who were living in Sheffield while he lived in London, were killed when a car crashed into the cafe that they were in.
His daughter was about thirteen when she died.
His wife got pregnant with Cassie after they stopped IVF treatment.

Harry Cunningham
Arrived as a trainee pathologist and is now fully trained.
His father (who is dead) was schizophrenic and as a result of this Harry knows a lot about the condition.
He doesn't believe in life after death.
While at college he went out with a girl named Penny. When he was about eighteen she got pregnant and he asked her to have an abortion. After this they split up. Eighteen years later she was murdered and Harry suspected that her son, Simon, who she had given up for adoption, could have been his.
Harry's Dad killed himself.
Harry is 36.

Nikki Alexander
Is an archaeo-pathologist who arrived at the lab from South Africa (where she worked in Johannesburg), Harry wanted to give her a job so in the end Leo offered her placement.
Initially she had little experience working in a mortuary.
Her father was in prison.
She was close to her grandmother who died in 2005.
She sort of believes in the supernatural (life after death, psychics, etc.)
Had dated the 'wrong kind' of guys and as a result of this knows a lot about betting on horses.
Nikki is 30.
She lost her virginity when she was 15.
She worked with a lawyer named Tim Kallis while in South Africa and Nikki knew his wife and children.

Sam Ryan
She left after solving her father's murder, as this was part of the reason for her becoming a pathologist.
She was from Northern Ireland.
When she was younger she had a son who she put up for adoption, before leaving the lab she was reunited with him.
