Deanna: One very large ice cream hot chocolate with marshmallows and extra cream.

Beverly: On my way, Alyssa! Bye girls, I�ll tell you all about it tomorrow!
Deanna: I don�t see what she�s so happy about. Captain Picard probably doesn�t even remember that it�s Valentine�s Day. Besides, he�s always inviting her over!
Guinan: If she�s happy about it, then let her be happy. You know as well as I do that they�re going to end up together someday anyway.

Guinan: If you�re that disappointed, I guess I�m gonna have to tell you my juicy gossip.

Deanna: Jewellery?
Guinan: You�re boiling hot, counsellor.

Deanna: Oh, I wish I could tell her! But that would ruin her surprise. I�m so glad they�re finally going to get a happy ending.

Deanna: Maybe I should go tell Will�

Back at the bar, two evenings later�
Guinan: Hey Alyssa. How was work?
Deanna: How was Beverly? Did she look any different to usual?
Guinan: Counsellor! I thought better of you than to interrogate ship�s nurses.
Alyssa: Actually, now you mention it she did look sorta dreamy. And suspiciously pleased. But she wouldn�t tell me why.
Guinan: I�m sure we�ll find out soon enough�but perhaps Deanna should tell you the story.
Alyssa: What story?
Deanna: It has something to do with the captain and Beverly, and dinner for two�and a ring.
Alyssa: WHAT? You can�t be serious?
Guinan: Let�s wait and see: here comes the doctor now.
Beverly: Hello everyone! I have to tell you something...and I'm sure this time Deanna won't be disappointed.

The next night around a poker table in Will�s quarters�
Will: Beverly, how do you do that?
Beverly: Do what?
Will: Just when I think I've got you, you beat me, every time!
Beverly: That�s my little secret.
Geordi: I hear you have another little secret, doctor. And you, captain.
Will: Yes, when were you planning on informing us of your little engagement?
Deanna: They�re blushing!
Jean-Luc: Oh, come on. We wouldn�t leave you in the dark for long. We were going to tell you all tonight...those of you who don�t already know.
Deanna: Don�t look at me! She told me yesterday. And Nurse Ogawa and Guinan know too.
Data: Allow me to congratulate you, captain; doctor. I�m sure you will be very happy together.
Will: Hear; hear! And allow me, dear friends, to get out the champagne in honour of this occasion!
Beverly: God, I feel like a queen with all this attention.
Jean-Luc: You�ll have to get used to it. Being the captain�s wife isn�t an easy occupation.
