1. Speeches
You will give speeches periodically during the semester.
Each one will count as a Quiz Grade
Each speech will be announced at least a week ahead of time.
Do not be absent on your assigned day. If you are absent, you will give
your speech on the day you will return.
Sometimes a speech may be reassigned because of time. It is your responsibility
to make sure you give the speech.
The type/time/topic will be announced when the speech is assigned.
Speeches are timed, so you need to practice at home. Being under time is
as bad as being over.

a) All material must be in a folder with fasteners.
b) Type all information. Only use plain paper for all pages.
c) Work in groups of 2—You must have a partner. BOTH of you must
appear in all pictures. It is best to team up with
another pair to take pictures so you can help each other.
*Take pictures early so you have time to make sure they develop.
*You cannot use the excuse that the picture did not take. You will have
to take it again.
*Blurry pictures or pictures that the sun or rain has distorted will not
be accepted.
d) GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO MARKERS THAT YOU CAN READ WHAT IS WRITTEN ON
THEM -IF POSSIBLE.
