This is a preview of my new art from the archives of Josephine Baker. I been creating this exciting art work for over seven months to be included in a solo exhibition. The exhibition will run for one month:;beginning October 1st - the 31th 2002 at: The Newark Municpal Building, 220 Elkton Road, Newark Delaware. The art work is created with digital painting, mix media, and collage. I have drawn upon and given emphasis to a theme characteristic of Musical "Theater,Comedy and Jazz Influences". The work is what I consider vibrant and stimulating contemporary art. They pay tribute to theses great entertainers. These art works will be shown this site www.BananaArt .com, A Museum in the Arts." Certain of the art work will be submitted for traveling exhibitions and cultural centers, galleries and performing art theaters. Organaizations, and other interested art lovers can contact me for exhibiting these very exciting new art works at [email protected] This program in part is made possible by grants from The National Endowment for the Arts, The Delaware Division of The Arts, a state agency committed to promoting and supporting the arts in Delaware.
