Neopets Art

I love Neopets! Not only is it fun, and cool, and addictive, but it taught me almost everything I know about drawing. ^.~ All this stuff spans a year and a half of my art, so some of the earlier stuff is... *cough* certainly not what I'm drawing now. x.X Sorted from oldest to newest, as always. Due to the sheer volume of my Neopets drawings, I'm going to try to get them all up, but if I get bored halfway through and start putting up just a few samples, then you'll know why. x.X I'm also not going to put up my fan art for other people, or art trades, or pics that are too small for me to make a good thumbnail from them. The name(s) of the pet(s) in the drawing are underneath the thumbnail.

All of these (with a few exceptions) were drawn with pencil and paper, scanned in, and colored on the computer. Some were colored just from the pencil lines, others from a fine-tip pen outline, and the most recent ones re-outlined on the computer with the mouse before coloring. Colored and manipulated with Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 and the mouse.

HINT: Unless you've got a morbid sense of humor or are obsessed with me or something, don't even bother with the first 5 pages or so. -.-;;

Maani Yeah, I know it's cutesy, but it's supposed to be. The problem with the Christmas Zafara is that Maani really *does* have a halo. x.X As to the pic, I thought it was really good when I first drew it, but then I looked back and noticed how thin the legs are. Well, the vase is good!

Maani, Rain Maani and his girlfriend Rain. I had an awful amount of trouble trying to get the faces to look somewhat the same, and as you can tell I didn't really succeed. Maani's eye is much farther forward in his head than Rain's. But I was trying mostly to let people see the similarities in their uniquenesses... their wings, their unusual tails, ect. Still not done very well.

Maani A picture to put as the "cover", if you will... the main layout pic for Maani's page Everburning Flames. The pic itself is kinda blah, and in retrospect the arms/front legs are too small and akward. I like the background, though, and the way I framed it with the yellow lines that go a few pixels from the edge instead of at the very outside.

Maani A battle pic, to put beside Maani's stats on his page. I had quite a time trying to get the force thingy on his arm to work right, and even now it isn't the best. Other than the arm, which I like, there isn't much remarkable about this pic. No background since on the page it's transparent.

Ryama Heehee. Possibly the least flattering picture ever made of Rya. >;D It's pretty simple, but the idea for the pic was good if I do say so myself. ^.~ I shouldn't have outlined the clouds with black, though.
