ORIGINAL POETRY: SHERON

       SOMETHING SOMEBODY...
Something somebody said to me
Was about Earth wanting us,
Ground loving out bodies, softly
After we go down fighting our fight

Air and sea -- they just let us be;
Ground always pulled on us,
Gravity hugged us to Earth, firmly
Making itself our bed for the night

I wished to be cradled and lulled --
Exposed to my tired humanity.
If Earth really wanted me --
I would be Her most faithful lover.

       A HEARTFUL
Enough of it was ragged,
to give a fit impression of
one-sided,
silent
earsplitting
love.
That gave and didn't take,
and dropped the pieces of
it's broken form
down your
upturned
mouth.
With tiny little crumb that was
unshattered still I loved you
and you fed on
tiny
me(s)
Until I had no more to give
And you, you smiling idiot, you,
have found another
loving
crazy
feeder.
