| ATTACK OF THE CLOWNS * * * The Clown stood in a clearing in the middle of the Yuzzum Forest. It was a bright, clear day and the sun felt good on his back. He looked around the area with his big blue eyes and managed to locate a bed of pine needles nearby. Even as he approached the pine tree under which the needles sat he could feel himself relaxing. A high pitched squeaking could be heard up near the top of the tree. It came from three young Ewoks. They were playing a game. This was a pleasing sight to the Clown. He wanted only peace and harmony for the Ewoks because they treated him well. It was a mutual relationship. The Clown rested his back against the solid trunk of the tree. He felt himself drifting off. It felt good out here. It was so relaxing. Actually, it appeared to be a little too relaxing. The Clown was suddenly aware of a wet spot on his pants. The giant, almighty Clown, protector of the Ewoks of Endor, had had an accident. Not just any accident. It is now known throughout the galaxy as The Accident. Up high in the tree the squeaking came faster. The Ewok children were laughing at him! It was an outrage; he protected them in their worst moments, but now they laughed at him in his own worst moment! Suddenly he didn't feel that the safety of the Ewoks was the most important thing in the galaxy. As a matter of fact, why should he protect them when he could rule over them? He could even rule over the entire galaxy, and why not? He had the power to do so. Super Ewok was an Ewok of average size and appearance, but he was super. He had incredible strength for one so small and he could fly. He was notorious for bringing himself back to life with his super powers, and admired by all of the Ewok children of Endor. At this moment, though, he wasn't impressing crowds of Ewoks or fighting evil. He was just taking his post as his village's lookout. Of course, nothing ever happened on Super Ewok's watch duty. He usually just fell asleep. He looked over the village. It was a lively place. Gird, the village musician, was playing some drums. Several children danced to the lively beat. Kervere and Lile, two of the five women of the village, were concocting a wonderful smelling stew. Super Ewok's best friend, Berge, was smelling his armpit while his brother, Yit, made an arrow. Something big was falling from the sky. Whirp, the village elder, entertained five children and three adults with his stories of the past . . . wait a minute.
