| The Jetpack Stormtrooper went to the Imperial Training Academy on Carida at the early age of two years old. Since then, he was bred to eat, sleep, drink, act, and fight like a machine. His commanding officers commended his work of cleaning up shower stations on the Star Destroyer Razor Sharp for years. As a result, they gave him a big head. When the Emperor found out about The Race that was going to take place in three days, he decided that he needed to get the Empire into some publicity there. He chose the Jetpack Stormtrooper to represent the entire Galactic Empire, and he gave the trooper a jetpack. The Jetpack Stormtrooper was immediately shipped out to the planet on orders to win The Race. On the day of The Race the crowd buzzed about seeing "the only man that's supposedly going on just jetpack." The announcers found this to be amazing, and even Jabba the Hutt himself agreed that this would be slightly amusing. The crowd's support of him gave the Jetpack Stormtrooper an even bigger head. He started ranting about how he was the greatest and that he was going to beat everybody else. When it was time for The Race to begin, Jabba the Hutt started the countdown . . . but before he could say go, the Jetpack Stormtrooper took a false start. He couldn't control the jetpack that was strapped to his back, and he crashed and blew up. That was the final thing that he could be proud of: he was the first racer to die in The Race. The Emperor would be pleased . . . |
